Sadly, my Galaga skills are poor. Despite my love (LOVE) of technology, I am a board game fan who specializes in Ticket to Ride and Trivial Pursuit.

More professionally, I am a 3rd year PhD student in Learning Sciences and Technology. Previously, I worked for the Harvard Kennedy School at two research institutions - the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs and the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy. I have a BA from Lafayette College (International Affairs) and an MA from Brandeis University (Conflict and Coexistence). My research interests include global citizenship, social justice, human rights, refugee education, and service learning.

I love the New York Rangers, rock of all sorts (alternative, indie, folk), politics, coffee, spicy food, writing, and my husband, Michael, who lives in Massachusetts and for whom I rely a lot on technology to keep connected.
