If you are hanging out in Austin for a few days, come by the historic Scholz Beer Garden* on Wednesday at 5pm for an impromptu joint happy hour with DHers and archivists (hopefully) in attendance.

I am an American Studies person working in (mostly analog) literary archives. I have public library work & customer service in my background, too. Access has always been on my mind. I'm a student/fan of the interesting ways humans are adapting to the challenges we are experiencing as a species in the 21st century, and of using ancient/natural solutions to solve contemporary problems. I just recently realized that my dream project isn't an archives project, but a DH one! Now I wanna know more about what y'all are up to and what tools you use. And how archivists can get more involved!
